Paradise in East Africa…
… where we will find everything you imagine Africa to be!
From the stunning plains of the Serengeti with their diverse fauna to the highest mountains in Africa—Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Africa's fifth-largest country, with a population of 62 million, is about 2½ times the size of Germany. This wonderfully vast country offers us plenty of space for adventures—experiences that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
We promise: Dreams come true here!
Tanzania: The adventure begins
After your individual arrival in Tanzania and arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha/Moshi, we will shuttle you to the car rental company, where you will pick up your off-road vehicle.
Our vehicles in Tanzania will be Toyota Prado/Land Cruisers or similar models. This is because it is impossible to rent Jeeps in Africa. But does that mean we have to do without them? No. The vehicles will be brought to Tanzania from Kenya and handed over to us at a rental station in Arusha, near the airport. The vehicles are considered very robust and have a good chassis for the tracks that await us.
Arusha and Tarangire
From there, we will head to Twiga Lodge, where we will stay for two days. We will use our time there to acclimatize, of course, but we also want to get our first glimpse of the wildlife and mountains. You will be thrilled in no time. Amazing craters, jungles, and the drive right next to Mount Meru will put a smile on your face. Let's take a look at Hatari Lodge together and enjoy the view of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro.
From here, we begin our safari through the bustling city of Arusha, with its 500,000 inhabitants, heading towards Tarangire National Park. And it is here, at the latest, that your African dreams begin to come true.
We set off early in the morning and spend the whole day on our safari, experiencing one highlight after another. In incomparably beautiful natural surroundings.
Accommodation is at Tarangire Safari Lodge.
Ngorongoro
After two nights in Tarangire National Park, we will set off again—and soon rediscover Tanzania…
Our journey takes us directly to the Ngorongoro Crater, to the Ngorongoro Farmhouse. The Ngorongoro Crater has an incredibly large, intact caldera and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of Tanzania's most popular attractions. It has its own ecosystem with an extraordinary density of wildlife, including the “Big 5”: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—including the rare black rhino.
A spectacular experience!*
Serengeti
From the Ngorongoro Crater, our route takes us down into the valley. Soon, we can guess what lies ahead. We like to call it “paradise on earth”: the Serengeti.
Through the imposing gate of the Serengeti, our route takes us onto one of the most challenging tracks on the planet. This is where we find out whether our equipment can withstand the conditions. And it is often the case that we encounter the first big cats after just a few hundred meters on the road.
The Serengeti will be our home for two nights at the TWC Serengeti Kati Kati Camp and one night at the Lobo Kimbilio Serengeti Camp.
This could be the best time of your life in terms of animal sightings. You never know exactly when the right time is, but the great animal migrations are still active or coming to an end: huge herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests are very likely.
We are talking about millions of animals!
Lake Natron
From the Serengeti, we drive to the surreal Lake Natron.
A special place in Africa, right on the border between Tanzania and Kenya.
Oldonyo Lengai (Massai: “Mountain of God”), one of the few active volcanoes in Africa, is not far away.
And from here, the next day we will travel through the desert - on a fantastic, varied, and exciting route—back to Arusha.
Back in Arusha
In Arusha, we check into the Grand Melia Hotel and really enjoy ourselves.
The end of a memorable adventure
After a wonderful dinner in the hotel's own restaurant, guests depart individually the next day.
See you again!
